Benjamin Bilby is a nocturnal, desert-dwelling marsupial omnivore, who enjoys nomming on bugs, fruit, bulbs and seeds. Benjamin is Australia's own 'Easter Bilby' and hopes to spread awareness of the need to conserve Australia’s native wildlife.
Benjamin would like to help you celebrate an Australian Easter in Autumn and he is now available to adopt. Do you know a small person (or big, we don't judge!) who might need a Benjamin in their life?
Benjamin is what we like to call 2.5d: shaped on one side and flat on the other. He stands independently in a small world set-up or lays flat in a play tray. He is made from sustainably-sourced premium pine, machined, hand-finished, engraved and sealed with beeswax wood balm. He is designed and made by Beadie Bug Play in Adelaide, South Australia.
Dimensions: 8cm x 7cm.
Benjamin is pictured here with Beatrice Bunny, who is also available for adoption.
Recommended age 3+. Use under adult supervision. Not recommended for use as a teething or chew toy. Please handle gently. Only for use in dry sensory bases. Clean off using a dry toothbrush, clean cloth and re-wax every 6-12 months.
