The different phases of the moon are due to the rotation of the moon around the earth over the course of a month. We have the new moon, crescent moon, first quarter, waxing gibbous, full moon, waning gibbous, last quarter, crescent moon and the new moon.

Without the moon, a day on earth would only last six to twelve hours. It is also the second brightest object in the sky after the Sun.*

We have created this collection to use as both a learning resource and for treasure and craft storage. They are suitable for both children and adults. Use for play, storage or display.

We recommend purchasing a tin of beeswax wood balm to care for your tray.  Please handle with care.  Although we design and make all of our products with little hands in mind, gentle handling and play will prolong the life of your tray.

Trays are made from sustainably sourced premium pine, machined, hand-finished and sealed with beeswax wood balm.  This tray is designed and made by Beadie Bug Play in Adelaide, South Australia.

Inclusions:  4 x moon phases trinket trays - full/new moon, waxing/waning gibbous, first/last quarter moon and a crescent moon. Other accessories are for display only.  Small crescent not included but can be purchased separately.  Rockets, space stamp blocks, crystal chips and gems all available separately.
